Daniel and his daughters Aileen(turning 9 on Friday, the 11th), and Katie(2 years old, in diapers) were able to evacuate with their dogs and the clothes on their backs. They were unable to return home to retrieve their belongings, and have lost everything, with their closest family being in Florida. The Bear Fire enveloped and destroyed the community of Berry Creek, their home, and all their belongings overnight. They have been sleeping in a 1997 pickup on its last leg, since 9/8 Tuesday night. With no shelters open due to Covid-19, no possessions, and no money, all help is appreciated to get them on their feet. All donations will go towards rebuilding these girl's lives.
