Bear Damage to Beehives

Hi, my name is Troy Olson, owner of Heaven Scent Honey. Over the last month, we've had multiple bear attacks on our hives. The same bear completely destroyed 38 beehives and all the honey, bees, and frames inside them. This, on top of our average bee losses, has caused us to lose most of our fall honey. The damage done by the bear has reached over $10,000, not to mention future losses of what the bees would have produced. Now we're reaching out to our community to ask for some help to replace the cost of the hives and to help us stay in business to keep pollinating North Carolina.
