In our current Galut, there are many growing physical and spiritual tragedies that face our Jewish community, such as our children going off the derech or being unable to find places where they can thrive in a Jewish environment. With many parents either unable or unwilling to send their boys to a Yeshiva where they can learn Torah in a nurturing environment, these unfortunate young men are being sent to public schools where they face the dire consequences of rising violence in the public school population. These Jewish souls are being dragged away from the light of Torah in order to survive in those harsh conditions.
Midrash L’man Achai has been serving the Jewish community for over two decades by providing young men from all backgrounds the opportunity to prepare for life by bringing them closer to G-d and Judaism through their growth in Torah and Mitzvot. Rabbi Kleinman and his staff have given selflessly to provide to the needs of these boys in our community.
Please watch this video to see the staff and students come together to share their experiences. The video speaks for itself!! Midrash L’man Achai is currently experiencing dire financial struggles and will not be able to continue to serve the community if we do not come together as one and support them. Closing our doors, and the boys out on the streets would be our community’s greatest tragedy.
