Here is a little backstory:

I met Sweetie back in 2013 at a time that my brother was dying due to lung cancer and then 7 months later, my son passed away due to chemo-related health issues.

I was devastated, but Sweetie helped me to find those blessings in the sadness and heartbreak of my losses, and it really helped.

Fast forward, Sweetie went for his 6-month lung scan, and they found through further testing that he did in fact have lung cancer. When I found out, my heart was shattered.

Here my Rock, my Best Friend, my Everything, and the most Amazing Life Partner has cancer! I remember saying to myself, "Are you fri**ing kidding me?!"

I want to say it was a mistake, but unfortunately, it was true!

Sweetie is the kind of person that everyone should have someone in their life like him at least once. He loves me unconditionally and does what he can to make our life easier and even better, and that is such a gift!

For those of you who don't know him, he is the kind of man who goes above and beyond to help others out whether they know him or not.

Sweetie started his 1st session of chemo with immunotherapy. He has 3 more sessions, and then they will see if the nodules as well as the cancer in the lymph nodes have shrunk enough to have surgery to get rid of it. So this could in fact be a good year or so.

Some of you know how we put our Heart & Soul into our business, Aunt Millie's Attic, but with going thru Chemo and Surgery at some point we won't be able to keep up with it for now.

But unfortunately, the medical bills that the insurance aren't covering as well as any living expenses that our Business covered will continue to come in.
