Hi, my 5 year old Border Collie Bean needs an urgent operation to mend , her ruptured right knee ligament and tendon, this is done by replacement with an artificial implant, attached to the bone.

It’s an injury that causes continual pain and if left uncorrected, lameness and overtime extreme arthritis and deterioration of movement, and quality of life

The amount we’re trying to raise is approximately half the total cost of the operation, we’ve managed to find the other half, and I will be selling/auctioning off a load of my guitars, amps, records etc to try and raise money towards the total.

As Bean is only 5 years old, we have every chance that she will make a good 90% recovery and be able to enjoy the rest of her life doing the thing she loves the most, running, walking and playing in the great outdoors. She’s one sad lil gal at the moment on pain killers and strict complete rest.

Any funds raised over the target amount will be donated to a dog related charity.

Hate to have to resort to this method of raising funds, especially at this time of year.
