Please don't scroll on past me! I’m putting my pride aside here, for the sake of my Cat. I'm not sure how this goes, so I'll just tell you a little about my situation.

I'm a Carer for my Mum in Australia, I am given a small pension. It's not a lot to live off of, and I don't get a chance to have savings. I usually make do, but this year has been hard with multiple unexpected tragedies. I do have pet insurance, but sadly it's maxed out at the moment.

On new years day this year my 19 year old Cat passed away in my arms from old age. It was a hard loss for me. I managed to scramble enough money together to have her cremated so I could have her with me at home, but it set me back financially.

Right as I was recovering from this, my other cat, Bean, 3 years, was discovered to have Stomatitis and an Auto Immune disease. His teeth had to come out to save his life, the infection could kill him and flareups would continue to reoccur otherwise.

I put myself into debt to pay to have his teeth removed, and I diligently cared for him while he recovered and made sure he took all of his medications every four hours on the dot.

This week I noticed he wasn't eating and was drooling more than usual. I rushed him to the VET and they discovered the removal of one of his teeth had caused a multiple marble sized lumps to form. They put him onto medication immediately, which I managed to cover on my own, but in three weeks he has to have a Biopsy.

Since it is in is mouth, they are likely going to need to sedate him and with the cost of Anaesthesia I could be looking at $700 - $1,500. They think the lump could be a tumour, but they need the inflammation to go down before the biopsy will show anything other than inflammation cells.

I'm barely going to be able to cover the biopsy bill. Most of the money is coming directly out of my groceries, and the rest will have to be scrambled together by ignoring other bills.

If it comes back that he has some sort of tumour, I could be looking at approx. $6,000 and no way to pay for treatment. I'm scraping all I have together to go towards his upcoming bills.

All I want is for my Cat to survive this. He has already gone through so much by having his teeth removed. He is one of the sweetest cats I've ever had. A total baby.

I know it's a lot to ask, but literally anything anyone would be willing to put towards it would be so appreciated and kind. I can't lose another one of my babies so soon.

If you aren't able to contribute I totally understand. However, even a dollar would would help! As a Carer I don't get a chance to socialize and my cats are all I have.
