Hi my name is Jacqueline and I’m raising funds for my sweet kitty, Beans. Beans has been with me since the day she was born in 2020, she’s truly family. She was spayed in 2022, but soon after, she began showing signs of going into heat several times a year. After many vet visits, I learned she has Ovarian Remnant Syndrome, a rare condition where a small piece of ovarian tissue remains after surgery. This tissue keeps producing hormones, making her body believe she’s still in heat and causing constant distress.

Because of this, Beans has developed severe overgrooming habits, often licking herself raw and reopening healed spots. She’s had to wear a cone for most of the past year just to protect her skin.

We’ve tried everything from vet-prescribed medications, calming aids, herbal remedies, and diet changes. While some help temporarily, nothing has resolved the issue fully.

The next step is specialized diagnostic testing and surgery to locate and remove the remaining tissue, along with holistic support to help her calm her nervous system and heal from the trauma.

These treatments could finally give her relief after so many months of pain and discomfort.

We’re raising funds to cover:
• Diagnostic testing and surgical costs (approx. $2,000–$4,000)
  • holistic care (supplements, healing aids for her skin)

Any amount, no matter how small, helps us take another step toward her healing.
Your support truly means the world to me, and to this sweet, resilient girl who just wants to feel comfortable again.

UPDATE Feb 19 2026: Beans had her surgery and they were able to successfully remove the ovarian remnants on both sides. However in order to get the surgery done asap we had to take out a loan to cover the 5,000$ surgery. Any donations to help us pay it back so we don’t drown in interest payments would be greatly appreciated!
