Bean’s Battle: From Shelter Dog—To Cancer Survivor
Donation protected
Hello, our baby boy Bean is a 6 year old chocolate lab. He was abandoned at the age of 3 and was found by my fiancée at a Human Society before we met. While he is her baby first, I have been beyond blessed these last 3 years to call myself Bean’s dad. He is loving, sweet, and friendly to anyone who’s is lucky enough to become one of his many friends.
recently we discovered that he had lumps on his arm that he wouldn’t it let us touch. Soon afree we noticed them growing in size slightly— and upon a visit to the vet today we discovered he has cancer. This procedure to remove the lumps and hopefully be cancer free will happen next week. We are willing to cover any bill that comes our way for our baby boy. However, anything anyone is willing to donate will help immensely and will go directly to bills.
we know that some people may think it is just the risk with owning an animal, or that he is on the older side. But we refuse to simply let our little bundle of so much love and joy go that easily. And we hope those of you who know Bean, or those who are animal lovers like us, would be willing to donate anything small that could go a long way in this time. ANY EXTRA CASH WILL GO TO THE HUMAN SOCIETY OF NORMAL ILLINOIS
