Our sweet pup Bean needs emergency heart surgery

Bean is in the hospital and her Dad, Ethan, Yedderns, needs your help. The vet bills are through the roof and Bean deserves all the care we can give her. We don’t know much about what’s wrong at the moment other than early this morning he found her unresponsive. Ethan rushed her to urgent care and they found fluid around her heart. She is stable right now and waiting on some tests to determine the cause and possible next steps. UPDATE: emergency heart surgery tomorrow / Saturday.

If you know Bean, you know how special she is. From the skate park to the beach to the recording studio, she’s always there. A better human than most humans. Please help Ethan with the medical bills. Every penny raised will go to Bean’s vet bills and care. Time is of the essence as she may need some expensive life saving procedures. Ethan’s dedication to making music means there isn’t a budget for stuff like this and your contribution will mean he will not have to worry about giving Bean the care she deserves. Saturday morning UPDATE: spoke w the doctor and surgery to begin shortly. We will hear from them again in a few hours. Be strong, Beanie girl!

UPDATE: Saturday afternoon - Bean had her surgery and is in ICU recovery. ❤️‍ So grateful to the doctors and surgeon who saved her life and thank you all so much for your support!!! Things got a bit complicated. They found some unusual stuff inside our girl when they went in to do the procedure. We’ll know more about what it is, and what she will need, in about a week. In the meantime, they got what they could, and she’ll be recovering for about a month. No skateboarding for a while, Bean. And we hope that all that yucky stuff inside you is now gone for good and won’t come back. We should be able to visit her tomorrow and hope Ethan can bring her home on Monday. For now we are hoping for all the signs of recovery so she can go home with Ethan asap. We will keep you updated as we know more!

UPDATE Saturday night : Vet says she’s a trooper and she seems to be doing well considering the significant surgery she just had this morning. We hope to be allowed to visit tomorrow!
