Bean Central is a modern cafe, designed with community in mind.

We believe in building an environment that ensures everyone is provided with an equal opportunity - this means we employ staff with disabilities, encourage learning and training of new skills and we love to see our community bloom.

At Bean Central, we pride ourselves on being a true community cafe.

We want to be at the forefront of community spirit within Queanbeyan and being able to provide employment opportunities to people who haven’t been able to secure work within the hospitality industry because of their disability is something we are truly passionate about.

At times, we realise and accept that this may impact the speed of service within the café, but with time and patience, we know that each and every member of our team will grow and become strong, independent members of the hospitality industry as a whole.

However, given that we opened our doors to the public in June 2020, the financial pressures of trying to keep our doors open during the COVID pandemic has finally caught up and now, more than ever before, we need your help to keep our doors open.

We have so much more work to do in providing the opportunities that we do in our community and are grateful for any assistance that you may be able to provide.
