While on vacation in May, my beloved dog Beamer was diagnosed with Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD), a serious spinal condition that commonly affects breeds like French Bulldogs, Dachshunds, and Beagles. IVDD causes the discs between the vertebrae to degenerate and sometimes rupture, leading to pressure on the spinal cord and nerves. In Beamer’s case, this resulted in the sudden loss of use of his back legs.
Thanks to emergency surgery, ongoing medication, and physical therapy, Beamer is now on the road to recovery and showing promising signs of improvement.
The total cost of Beamer’s medical care, including tests, an MRI, and surgery—came to nearly $11,000. While Nationwide Insurance generously covered $5,000, I’m still facing significant out-of-pocket expenses.
I’m reaching out for a little help during this difficult time. Any support—big or small—means the world to me and to Beamer.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
