Support Beamer's Urgent Medical Care

This campaign is crowdfunding to raise funds for sweet Beamer's medical treatment.

Beamer is the four-legged son of longtime community organizer Ginger, founder of Baggingit4Kids. Ginger left the world of capitalism 10 years ago to dedicate her life fully to service. She has dedicated the past 10 years of her life to feeding the people of Durham, eliminating food waste, and caring for all that is living. I'd like to ask the community to extend some of that care back to Ginger and Beamer to support his medical care.

Beamer has an obstruction in his intestine that has left him unable to eat. He's been in the hospital on and off for three days and must stay in the hospital through the weekend. On Monday we will find out whether or not he needs surgery. If Beamer is able to recover without surgery, his medical bills will total over $4,500. This is the best case scenario. Beamer's health costs have been a great financial strain on Ginger, who needs community support to continue to fund Beamer's care.
