Beagle's Road to Recovery Needs Your Help

Saving this dog has been an emotional rollercoaster and we're finally at a happy ending, with your help. We're raising funds to help EAST CAN pay for further medical treatments needed.

On December 28th this beagle, who has been roaming the streets of Nashville, was hit by a car. My friend saw him on the side of the road and called me to come help. When I got there he ran away, dragging his back leg, covered in blood, with his testicle protruding from his anus. It was heartbreaking and he was so scared. We couldn't catch him.

Days went on, hours of searching, hundreds of people in our neighborhood facebook groups keeping an eye out, with a few sightings but nobody able to trap him. My husband and I grew so worried that as it got closer to the snow storm he was gone forever.

THEN we got a DM on facebook from an angel named Jack who had seen our post and he alerted me to the pup being dropped off at the animal shelter, where he received medical care, multiple procedures, and surgery. We're in deep gratitude to Sharon at EAST C.A.N. for their contributions and for all that went into finding and saving this sweet baby. She was with me in the cold dark rain looking for him!

My husband and I are fostering him until he gets officially adopted and we're raising money to help ECAN pay further medical care while he recovers and needs more help to get back to 100%.
