Hi, I'm creating this go fund me for my friend Loegan and her daughter Lakilynn. For those of you who don't know Lakilynn she is just 8 years old. On January 13th, Lake was sent home with a fever from school. On January 16th, Loegan gave Lakilynn an at-home covid test that came back positive, hours later she was in a diabetic coma fighting for her life. She was then rushed to JHH where she was put into critical condition, and they immediately declared she had ketoacidosis. Her diabetes went undiagnosed for over a year even after several doctor visits (Including 3 doctor visits the week before all of this occurred). She eventually developed pneumonia. She is on a ventilator which is doing the majority of the work, allowing her body to rest. Currently, she no longer has ketoacidosis, and her sugar level and blood pressure are maintained. Her lungs are clearing more and more every day. Lakilynn still has a long road ahead of her and is fighting some battles with her heart, one side of it isn't beating as fast as it should be (allowing blood to flow properly). She just started on her heart medication so hopefully, that improves in the next 24 hours! Lakilynn also has her little brother at home, Roman, who needs her back to herself!!!

Loegan did not want me to do this, but she has been staying at her bedside with her at the hospital, while also trying to be the sole provider for her family. Anything helps, including a share! We appreciate all the prayers and well wishes!!!
