Bea Antisdel Memorial Funds
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Karin Weigley and I grew up as best friends with Esther Antisdel in Michigan. We've kept in touch and I think of her as a sister. I also become good friends with her classmates from SVA, Melissa, Adam, and Reed, when I went to Southern Adventist University. When I heard about Bea passing away so unexpectedly I wanted to do something to help Esther, even though I live so far away. Along with Melissa Harley, we are starting this Go Fund Me in hopes of alleviating some of the unexpected expenses that go along with the loss of a loved one. Here is Esther and Bea's story in Melissa's words:
Esther Antisdel Lipscomb is one of the strongest women I know! She has endured so many trials and so much heartache in her life, and yet always manages to stay positive. She inspires others to overcome life's obstacles and find joy in the journey of life. She lost her brother, Peter, unexpectedly in his teens. Her sister, Rachel, slowly and painfully passed away due to brain tumors in her late 20s. Then last week, she lost her mother, Bea Antisdel, in a fatal car accident.
Bea was a single mother and supported her three children on her own. She never complained and was always patient, gentle, generous, and thoughtful of others. She made beautiful quilts to give away. She recently helped sew a zipper for an academy student's banquet dress. Bea had a strong relationship with God, despite all of the trials she went through. She lived a simple, healthy lifestyle. She loved her children with a selfless, giving love and had a special relationship with each of her grandchildren. She was a beautiful example of a loving and devoted mother, grandma, and Christian.
Esther is also a single mother, supporting her two children, Isaac and Abby, through her life coaching business. Esther would never ask for financial help, but if you would like to give a gift in memory of her wonderful mother, Bea, to help with funeral expenses, I'm sure it would be gratefully received.
