Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma Treatment

Hi, my name is Judy. My family and I are fundraising to help my sister, Gabriela pay for costs related to her Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma diagnosis. We haven't included a photo so we can retain some privacy during this emotional time.

My sister was diagnosed about two months ago. Since then, we've been working to get her and her family covered under an insurance plan. Even with the help of insurance we expect the cost of treatment to be a substantial burden on our family.

Gabriela is an exceptional mother to two exceptional girls; they are 9 and 6 years old. She is their best friend. Her best friend is her husband and they've been faithfully together for a little over 10 years. I wish I could say she has been my sister for my entire life but I met her when I was 9. Her mom married my dad and we became a family of 10. Sometimes it's hard to see a blessing when it's right in front of your face. Today its clear as day that the most valuable possession we have is our family.

If any of us could switch places with her we would in a heart beat. She is easily the most important piece of us and never gives herself that credit. She gives and gives tirelessly and never asks for anything in return. I truly have never known a more honest and pure heart than hers.

Please help us care for her. We need her to stay strong and positive to fight this disease. Your generous support will help us ease the stress of coping with the financial burden that comes with treating cancer.
