A Helping Hand

On August 15, 2015, this beautiful young lady, Juliana Cruz, was involved in a fatal car accident that took her life and left three others seriously injured.   Of the three were her fiance Raymond Zayas, Luis Alvarado Jr., and Fabian all were youth in her church. 

Juliana moved to Rochester from Puerto Rico several years ago with her single mother of eight children.    Their first home in Rochester was a shelter.  Despite her circumstances and all the odds against her, Juliana excelled in all she did. 

Juliana was Salutatorian of her graduating class at Edison Technical High School.  This past May Juliana had finally accomplished her dream and graduated from R.I.T.  with her bachelor's degree.  At the same time she finished her studies in a Christian Bible School.    She recently landed her dream job as a sonographer at Rochester General Hospital.   Juliana had a promising and bright future ahead of her.

Now with the unfortuante and unexpected turn of events, her family and friends are left having to find the funds to provide her with the funeral she truly Merits.  We ask that anyone able to contribute to help her family lay her to rest as we celebrate her life, please do so.   
Juliana was only 21 years old and did not have life insurance.  Any and all contributions are immensly appreciated.  God Bless you all.
