As many of you are finding out the Bennington's vacation to California took a turn for the worst nearly as soon as they landed. Lori and her family were traveling to California for a family vacation. The morning of the flight to California Lori woke up with a migraine that was unrelieved by medication. During the flight, Lori's migraine worsened and she began having chest pain. The flight landed and EMS was called to the airport for Lori, she was transported by ambulance to the nearest hospital where she suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage (stroke) and coded. The medical team was able to revive her and transport her to a larger more equipped hospital in L.A., Cedar Sinia. She is stable, in very critical condition, in ICU but is currently battling a brain bleed. Lori is responsive to touch at this point but not commands. As you can imagine the medical expenses in just two days will be astronomical, not to mention she is expected to be in ICU for a minimum of 3 weeks if she progresses as we all pray she does. Being away from their home they are forced to rent a hotel each night, this hotel is located in Beverly Hills where they are within walking distance of Lori because her condition can change in seconds. If you can fathom just how expensive this would be for just one night let alone 3 weeks or more then you can imagine the financial burden this will be for them. I am asking that you graciously donate what you can to help this family. Please know this family would give back in a heartbeat. If you cannot support financially, prayers are just as appreciated. Please help us ease some of the worries they may be experiencing and let all their attention go towards helping Lori recover and bring her home.
