My name is Shanon and I have been close friends for the last 5 years I consider Ken and Barbara as my family, they were there when I needed someone to be there and now they need my help and yours.

Ken was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer February 2021 which is a very aggressive cancer. After undergoing various MRI 'S, Cat Scans, Pet Scans and full Body Scans, the cancer has invaded his hips, lymph nodes in his face which has caused swelling and severe pain, and has metastasized through his whole body. He started Chemotherapy treatments in March through August of 2021, most recently has undergone and continues with radiation. Many know Ken as a protector and a provider. He has worked his whole life since he was 14 often having multiple jobs, and even through his treatments up until May 5th of 2023 when he just couldn't work as hard as he had in the past. He still manages the Rv park at the Gridley fairgrounds with help from his wife Barbara. He has been married for 57 years to Barbara Darlene Farley. Their family lives in Kansas. They are needing help with medical bills and money to get back to where they can be close with their family for love and support.
