Friends, (* UPDATE BELOW)

My very dear friend Brenda is doing her level best to fight off cancer, and it's really giving her a run for her money. (No pun intended, but actually...that works.) It is literally fighting her money.

This woman has devoted her life to helping others through her work as a self-employed psychologist, and I mean people who truly need her help to survive this world. And, aside from her work life, she has always been a giving, helpful and kind person. (If you already know B, you know. If you don't, just believe me.)

Her cancer is a mean and nasty attacker, and it is now causing her to have to miss working with her clients. With her permission, I am asking for your help in keeping her afloat financially. It is such a powerless feeling to not be able to help kick the cancer's ass personally but helping with a few dollars IS a definite help.

*An update to Brenda's situation:

Brenda had to go back to the hospital since I first posted this GoFundMe. She's spent the past three weeks in the hospital having one complication on top of the next. Obviously, she has not been able to work. Now she truly needs help.

Trust me - I know very well, how this can happen to any of us at any time. Health crises turn everything upside down, sometimes many times over. It's a mean rollercoaster, and not the fun kind.

Whatever we can do to take this major stress off of Brenda's mind will hopefully allow her a bit of peace and let her focus on healing. James is her constant companion as always. Thank you in advance for sharing what you are able. We are grateful beyond measure.
