Hi, my name is Lakyn and my husband is Dj. We have a son, named Legend ❤️

Legend was born with a rare form of Down syndrome and a congenital heart defect, causing his little heart to fail since birth. He was diagnosed with a Complete Balanced AVSD that needs repair. In lament terms- he has 2 holes in his heart and they must patch them via open heart surgery at just 4 months old . He is so strong, and such a fighter. He is going to break boundaries and have a wonderful life. Thankfully our son’s surgery is covered through insurance- however the recovery, time spent with him at the children’s hospital, lodging, and meals are not. Unfortunately bills don’t stop coming in with such life experience either.

we are asking for assistance to cover such things so that my husband and i, can be there for our son during this time. Nobody of course wants to see their child go through this, and we appreciate all for helping us through this incredibly tough time we are facing.
