My name is Katy Whitaker and I’m lucky enough to call Julie Marynok one of my closest friends! It’s so rare to meet someone who is only interested in supporting you, cheering you on, and being there when you need a shoulder- and asks for nothing in return. She is truly one of the most generous, kind women I know and she’s facing a challenge she has allowed me to share.

Julie’s husband has been diagnosed with leukemia and is receiving treatment at Dana Farber in Boston. A first and major step will be a bone marrow transplant, followed by a rigorous chemotherapy treatment and a month long stay in the hospital. Julie needs to be there by his side for the first week and needs to be able to come and go from Boston as much as possible the remaining 3-4 weeks- all while balancing her busy full time job, and taking care of her home and pups.

I'm hoping we can come together to donate funds to help her pay for accommodations for one full week in Boston, and enough to pay for all the travel she will be doing the entire month of October. Any donation welcome.
