Who We Are

Luminous Movement is a community-driven martial arts school based in the heart of Lloyd Center Mall. We teach the art of movement through Lightsaber Fencing, HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts), and cinematic choreography. Whether you're a Star Wars fan, a sword enthusiast, or just curious about martial arts, or just want a different form of exercise, there’s a place for you here.

Our motto is simple but powerful:

“Be the Light.”

We believe that everyone—regardless of experience, income, or background—should have the chance to train with us, to grow stronger in body and spirit, and to find a place of belonging.

️ Why We Need Your Help

Training weapons and protective gear can be expensive, and that cost often stops people from ever stepping onto the mat. At Luminous Movement, we want to remove that barrier.

This GoFundMe will fund:

Shared lightsabers and practice swords

Shared Protective gear: fencing masks, gloves, jackets, and more

Floor mats for safe movement and sparring

Storage and organization equipment

Scholarships for youth and low-income students

With your help, we can build a fully equipped loaner gear program so anyone can begin their journey right away—no gear required.

What Your Support Means

$60 = A pair of sparring gloves

$100 = One beginner practice lightsaber or sword

$250= A training weapon, gloves and mask for 1 student

$500+ = Fully equips 2 students with safe gear and instruction
