My name is Charlton Kirkconnell. I'm in need of a liver transplant and my best chance of making a full recovery and living a long life is to find a living donor. My needs aside, I would like to use this platform to raise awareness about the living donor program and what it takes to become a living donor. There are so many people out there in need of and deserving of a second chance at life. I'm hoping that my story, no matter how it ends, could impact someone's decision on becoming a living donor and saving someone's life.

Even though a lot of people are organ donors, unfortunately they have to pass away for their organs to be donated. With the living donor program people can make a life saving donation while they are still alive. They call these people Angels. Whether it's a family member, a loved one or close friend, a co-worker or a complete stranger you can become someone's Angel.

I'm having to raise funds for medical expenses and all the other expenses that go along with this procedure. Unfortunately, I have to ask for help because it's extremley expensive and my insurance doesn't cover all the costs. Any amount you can give will be a huge help.
