Be Sadie's Heart Hero: Support Her Surgery

Dear friends and family,

My name is Chelsea, and I am the proud mother of Sadie, our resilient 4-month-old daughter. Sadie has been diagnosed with a ventricular septal defect (VSD), an atrial septal defect (ASD), and an additional bundle of muscle tissue at the bottom of her heart. To address these conditions, she is scheduled to undergo open-heart surgery on January 31st to repair the defects and remove the extra tissue.

While we are hopeful and optimistic about the positive impact this surgery will have on Sadie’s health, we are also facing significant financial challenges. The costs associated with the surgery, combined with our regular living expenses during Sadie’s recovery period, are substantial. I won't be returning to work until she heals, which further impacts our financial stability.
