Be Part of Zoey’s Battle to Recovery

Hi all, I'm Zoey! I had a rough start to life being abused by my first owner and then being returned by my second owner as she could no longer care for me. I didn't trust anyone until my current parents came along and rescued me at 8 months old. I learned what it meant to live in a forever home with two humans that love me. I only wanted to show my gratitude by following my humans around all the time.

Unfortunately, sudden noises still scare me and when I heard the trash being dumped across the street, I was spooked and took off. A vehicle hit me and now I’m in ICU with two chest tubes to help me breathe. My prognosis is hopeful but my parents have a lot of medical bills for me coming their way.
