The music is made. Now I need your help to get it heard!

Hi, I’m Nate James.

Some of you have been with me since I released my debut album 'Set The Tone' over 20 years ago. Others may have discovered my music more recently. Wherever you joined the journey, I’m incredibly grateful you’re here.

This year, I travelled to Turin, Italy, to record and co-produce my new album, 'The Man I Am,' alongside the brilliant Skyler Vittorini.

And the album is finished!

I’ve poured my heart, soul, time and my own money into making this record independently. It’s the most honest and personal music I’ve ever made — reflecting 20 years of life, love, loss, growth and finally having the confidence to stand completely in who I am.

So why am I crowdfunding?

Because making great music and getting great music heard are two very different things.

As an independent artist, there isn’t a major label behind me funding the next stage. Radio plugging, TV promotion, PR, digital marketing, content creation and taking the music out on the road all come with significant costs.

I’m not asking you to help me make an album. I’ve made it.

I’m asking you to help me give it the opportunity to be heard.

The money raised will go directly towards:

Radio & TV promotion • PR & press • Digital marketing • Content & creative • Live & tour support

I want to be completely transparent, so I’ll also be sharing a breakdown of where the money will go.

Every contribution matters.

I'm not expecting everyone to donate huge amounts. £5, £10, £20 — whatever you can comfortably afford — genuinely adds up.

And if donating isn't possible, sharing this campaign link is just as valuable!

More than 20 years after 'Set The Tone,' I’m still here. Still independent. Still making soul music and, perhaps for the first time in my career, doing it completely on my own terms.

If my music has ever made you dance, helped you through something, brought back a memory or simply made you feel good, I’d love you to be part of this next chapter.

I am also offering experiences for the bigger donations:

£100+ Your photograph will be included in the album sleeve

£500+ You will get up to 5 VIP tickets to one of my live shows

£1000+ You will get a special acoustic performance in your home or a venue of your choosing (UK based, subject to agreed date). If you're outside the UK get in touch and let's talk.

The music is made. The album is ready. Now let’s get it heard.

Thank you for believing in me.

With love and gratitude,

Nate x
