Suzie's Cancer Fighting Tribe

Hello ALL!!!!

Our dear friend Suzie has been going through quite a lot over the past few months.

 

Suzie has been out of work since April, when she blew out her right knee, and there were subsequent complications in recovery after surgery. The day before she was cleared to return to work from her bum knee, she received some news.

 

Suzie has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer, Stage I. She has not told many as she has been going through lots of testing to rule out other things over the last two months but the biopsy results were definitive. The last five weeks have been filled with CT scans, MRIs, weekly blood work, ultrasounds, and genetics testing. She has caught it early, and it has not metastasized. THANK GOD!!!

 

She has met with her breast surgeon, oncologist, and plastic surgery team to discuss treatment options, and has decided to proceed with surgery, which will be on 2/10/22 at AdventHealth Winter Park as an outpatient procedure. She will also need some type of chemo but will know more after the pathology results are in.

 

Positive thoughts are needed. Since Suzie has been out of work since April, it has been a lot, mentally, emotionally, physicallyand financially. Now paying for all of the upcoming fees for surgery, treatments, office appointments and basic living costs are ever increasing becoming very expensive.

 

Suzie is a strong warrior, and will need all of our positive thoughts and prayers in the coming weeks and months. If you are able to help out our friend in her time of need and be an essential part of her Tribe, anything will be helpful.
