My name is Holly Jordan and I am creating this go fund me for my dear friend, Lenora Cote.

In the last couple weeks, Lenora and her family have received saddening news of the worst kind. Lenora, at 43 years old, has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer which has spread to her liver. This news has deeply impacted Lenora's husband Bryan, her two children Joely (14) and Finnegan (7), as well as her many family members and friends.

On September 11th, Lenora started her first round of chemotherapy, but unfortunately, her treatments have been put on hold. On September 28th, Lenora was hospitalized at Midcoast Hospital in Brunswick where she remains unable to leave or receive chemo until her bloodwork improves. Missing chemotherapy treatments means missing out on Lenora's best chance for more quality time with friends and family and it is pivotal to get Lenora home and well enough to start them up again.

Our hope for this go fund me is that Lenora can focus on getting well and not on the burdens of financial expenses as she fights this cancer. She will not be able to work during this time and the medical bills as well as the normal costs of everyday living for her family are going to be challenging. Lenora's selfless love, kind soul, and compassion for others deserve to be met with the same level of commitment from our mighty Gardiner community! By joining forces, we can alleviate financial strain allowing Lenora to focus on what is most important, creating more cherished moments with her loved ones.
