Those of you who have been blessed by my dad (Keith Springer) and his service to the Lord will know the testament he has lived. Dad has been a pastor, and now hospice chaplain, for the majority of his lifetime; nothing brings Dad greater joy than serving the Lord. We all know him for his adventuring spirit as well, from fishing and hunting to sky driving. Being the adventurer he is, he is now headed to Africa for the opportunity to work with pastors and churches in Nairobi, Tanzania, and other parts of Kenya.

Dad and a missionary friend of his (Bill Faught) will be headed on a mission trip on August 12th through September 2nd. The first week they will be leading a revival meeting in Nairobi. The second week they will be speaking at a pastor's conference in Tanzania and then back to Kenya the third week for another pastors' conference. They anticipate there will be at least 400 pastors attending the conferences from five African nations.

Dad is asking for prayers as they prepare for this mission trip and that God's hand moves mightily. He asks for financial support for the mission if God lays it on your heart to be a part of the mission in this way, and lastly to pray for God's leadership for future mission work as they are already looking ahead to a possible second trip back into Africa. I ask that we lift Dad and Bill up in prayer, this mission trip, the pastors they will be teaching, and that God brings revival to Africa. Thank you, Renny Jo
