Our DEAREST friend, our co-worker, our yoga teacher, this beautiful and strong young woman, full of life, warmth and energy, who has been inspiring us in so many different ways is facing cancer again!

Katia has been through the breast cancer twice in the past 7 years. Unfortunately, her journey is more intense now. Recently the CT scan revealed that “Master Cancer” (that’s how she calls it) has spread to her liver, ribs, lymph, lung and brain. It’s a dramatic development in the last 2 months.
As you can imagine her days are very draining currently. She spends most of her time at the hospital, focusing on ways to make the very best she can on her path to recovery. Katia has been on a sick leave since November. Her treatment is really expensive and many alternative therapies she is exploring are not fully covered by the health insurance! Her finances shrink rapidly.
This is the part where we as friends and colleagues need to step in!
We want Katia to be closer to her loved ones and also take away the worries about the finances! We ask YOU ALL colleagues, friends and strangers touched by her story to contribute to this fundraising and help us get Katia's family to NYC as well as help us contribute to Katia's medical expenses!
Let us bring more joy in Katia's treatment and her path to recovery!
