Be Part of a Positive Transformation

Well this has been a long time coming ;-) And the puns have only just begun. I started this ''leg" of my life journey in 2007, and I've spent the last 18 years both intentionally and unintentionally getting to know myself. Getting to know my emotions, my intellectual capacity, my physical capacity, and the ins-and-outs of my body. It has been relieving, anxiety inducing, liberating, fun, depressing, and best of all exciting. Along the way, I have decided to make body modifications that felt appropriate to reflect who I feel I am and/or reflect how I would like to be perceived by my community and the world. This procedure and process, I suspect will be the last in this course of action of making body modifications although, it will take a year or so to complete all of the steps.

Many who know me, know that I value my independence, and for that reason rarely ask other's for money or help unless in an emergency. I am doing my best to suspend that judgment of myself as the financial assistance and otherwise can really help in determining the success of the procedure as well as a long term healthy outcome that allows for me to further contribute to the world. This GoFundMe is set up to assist with the initial cost and expenses with the procedure and process. The list is long, but to name a few things, medical co-pays, post-operative care and supplies, housing expenses associated with being away from home for a month in Austin, and so on.
