Bringing Hope to Young Lives: My Summer Mission with Young Life Capernaum in Kazakhstan

Hi, my name is Elijah Krohn, and I’m incredibly excited to share an opportunity that’s deeply close to my heart. Two summers ago, I had the life-changing privilege of meeting Vince Felix—someone who has become a true blessing in my life. Through Vince, I was invited to serve with Young Life Capernaum, a ministry dedicated to creating life-changing experiences for teens and young adults with disabilities.

This summer, I’ve been given the incredible opportunity to serve internationally with Young Life Capernaum in Almaty, Kazakhstan. This camp is a sacred space where individuals with disabilities are celebrated, loved, and given the chance to encounter the joy and hope of Jesus Christ in a powerful way. It’s more than just a camp—it’s a community where lives are transformed through friendship, fun, and faith.
