Be part of an eco dream at The Crafting Farmer

Hi everyone, my name is Patricia and over the past few months I have set up my craft business - The Crafting Farmer. After over a decade of making crafts as gifts, I finally took the plunge and took a chance on myself. Sure why not?

I live in West Wicklow with my dairy farming husband, our crazy/adored dog Rover, our indoor cat Robin (her outdoor offsprings Ron, Harry and Neville) and my 6 rescue hens Hermione, Ginny, Luna, Molly, Lily and Dora (notice any theme there?).

I am passionate about the pieces I make and equally passionate about our planet so I created an Eco Beauty Collection which currently includes Reusable Face Pads, Soap Bag and Wash Mitt. Each piece is made using sustainable yarn such as bamboo cotton, hemp, linen/lyocell and even post consumer recycled polyester.

We also created a Baby Collection featuring (so far) beautiful hand knitted cardigans and we are currently researching our options for a luxury but sustainable yarn to make these pieces with.

It is an exciting time for a small, kitchen table business but (there's always a but), we are currently hoping to invest in aome beautiful yarns, development of a website and professional photography of our pieces so that Dear Reader( if you've got this far) is where you come in.
