Be My HERO: Help a poor gal go pro!

Hey friends!!

As you know… I am a poor college student.

But… what you may not know is that I am saving for my first professional camera that will keep me at the forefront of photography for the next 5-10 years!

I’ve spent months researching and have set my sights on the Sony A1 II camera body + GM lenses. The body costs about $7000 (with warranty) and each GM lens is about $2000. In addition, I will have to buy new memory cards that are compatible with the Sony system (about $100 each). With all of this, I can take professional photos of any subject matter in almost any lighting situation. Paired with my continuing photo college education and my work at the highest acclaimed wedding photo and video studio in all of Utah (Scarlet Oak Studio), I will be able to go fully professional — but only with your help.

I am about to start my Junior year at university, which is THE year for portfolio creation. I will have portfolio reviews this year in Alaska from professional reviewers from all over the world. In addition, the end of Junior year means the beginning of internships with photo companies that can set me up for the rest of my career. I am pushing to have the gear that is capable of creating serious portfolio work now in preparation for all of these upcoming events as well as an incredible investment for the next decade of my life :D Any help towards these dreams, plans, and upcoming events in my life would be a life-changing blessing for me.
