I'm Jason, and on behalf of my wife, Melissa, and the family, we're asking for your blessings to help her father, Mike Whittington. Dad was involved in a horrific motorcycle accident on July 5th. He suffered a traumatic brain injury and shattered his chest.

Mike is one of the best men I know. He's patient, kind, and always the first to help family. He's loved by anyone who's ever met him. He's taught me so many things through the years.

The insurance claim is going to be eaten up by the 2-month hospital stay. We are trying to get him to Ohio State's Disorders of Consciousness program that has a 70% success rate of bringing patients through a TBI. Insurance is fighting his acceptance, and out-of-pocket costs are very expensive. We also anticipate long-term medical and pharmaceutical needs, as well as potential home changes.

Mike is a miracle. He's strong. He's always been there for others. Now, we ask that you be there for him. Be Mike's Miracle!
