B&E Matttingly - Mold Recovery

Hi Everyone!

If you're reading this, you've probably already heard the story. But here is a quick recap...

Our family moved back to Valpo from Chicago in April and have been living with my parents. We put most of our belonging in storage while we searched for our new home.

July 22nd, we were finally were ready to move into our new home, but to our unfortunate surprise, we found that mold covered a large portion of our belongings after being in storage (furniture, beds, clothing, toys, books etc).

Several people have expressed interest in donating to help us recoup out losses for repurchasing and cleaning, and for that, I'm already very grateful.

This has been quite the challenge for our family, but as we've reflected on our circumstances we know God is leading and teaching us. He's reminded us that our treasures on earth can fade away, but our treasures in heaven are secure. As much as this does really suck and is an inconvenience, we know that God is good, trustworthy and dependable to provide all we need for the day.
