This summer should be full of sunshine, outdoor fun, and laughter for my son. But instead, it’s a season of isolation, hospital visits, and quiet days spent inside. My son is battling both Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) and Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP), two serious conditions that make it difficult for him to do anything most kids take for granted. He can’t jump on trampolines, play outside for long periods, or even roughhouse with his friends. His immune system is compromised, and his blood is often too fragile for him to participate in the normal joys of summer.

Every day feels like a new challenge, from getting him to and from appointments to keeping him comfortable when he’s stuck resting. That’s why I’m reaching out for help—to raise funds that will cover:

• Medical supplies and treatment costs for his ongoing care

• Gas and food for the long drives and hours spent at appointments

• Activities and comfort items to help him stay entertained and feel normal during treatment
