Be Brave for Mikayla Young

Hi, My Name is Nicole. 

I met Mikayla Young and her family when I became their daycare provider. Over the years wehave become friends that turned into family. 

This Go Fund me is to Help Mikayla and her family as the Continue to Be Brave.

Here is Mikayla’s story :

On January 3rd 2020 Mikayla had some unusual bruising after dance class. Darcie took her to the walk-in. They found out that her platelets and hemoglobin was extremely low. Mikayl was the sent to the Children’s Hospital in Saskatoon where she had 2 blood and 2 platelet transfusions. Over the last 9 months Mikayla has been very brave while facing Infections,pain,fevers,gum surgery,xrays,CT Scans, multiple pic lines, transfusions and being away from home, her dad and her sister. 

Mikayla was diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia. She is requiring a Bone Marrow transplant which will require her and her mom to be in Calgary for 100 days. 

We are raising funds to help with the financial hurdles they have had and the new ones to come as they continue to help Mikayla Be Brave
