UPDATE

Everly has been doing good since her last appointment! She was able to go trick-or-treating with her family, have a great Thanksgiving, and Christmas!! Doctors didn't want to do surgery because her angioma had coagulated and was too difficult to remove.

The entire neurology medical department had come to the conclusion to follow through with her surgery. Everly's brain surgery will significantly reduce another catastrophic event from happening again. It will give her a better quality of life: playing with her siblings, sports, riding horses, and everything else she wishes to accomplish in her life.

I am starting this fund for my brother, David, his wife, Aubrey, and his three kids.

On the morning of July 19th, their daughter Everly suffered from a seizure. They quickly called an ambulance and rushed to the clinic in Morenci. Upon arrival, they flew her out to Phoenix to receive the best care. Thankfully, Papa Eric and his wife Jere live nearby and were there for her when she landed. David and Aubrey quickly grabbed everything they needed to head to Phoenix.

Everly got MRI and CAT scans done, and she has a 3cm bleed from an angioma that is putting pressure on her spinal cord. Doctors say the blood is too coagulated for surgery. Over a little time, that blood should soften up so they can do surgery to drain it.

Until then, she will be stuck in ICU, along with her Mommy and her Daddy. As many may know, Aubrey just gave birth to Everly’s little brother, Forrest. He was born July 12th. Everly also has an older brother, Jaxson, age 6. He misses her very much! Forrest stayed with Grandma Lisa and Aunt Maddie for a couple of days, but he is now finally close to Mommy and Daddy, staying with Papa Eric and Jere.

Everly is in good spirits; she plays with new toys the nurses gave her, but she gets tired fast. She wants to come home to see Jaxson; she misses him so much!
