EMERGENCY SITUATION – WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT
BE BEAR’S ANGEL – DONATE, SHARE, SEND LOVE
Dear Paw Help followers and dear supporters,
We didn’t think we’d be in this position … but here we are, heartbroken and lost. I have just returned to the UK and the first news I received was absolutely soul-crushing.
Our sweet little Bear (his story is below)— a gentle giant at only 20 weeks old, still a baby — had his second major hip operation on 11th April. He was collected from the clinic on the 19th… but was returned the very next day. He been struggling with pain after 2nd operation. Bear was kept at the vet clinic for 2 weeks.
But right now, we face a mountain we can’t climb alone:
WE NEED YOUR HELP TO PAY BEAR’S BILL – £3,320
We are now facing an urgent bill of £3,320 for his surgeries and 2 weeks care — and we simply do not have that kind of money left.
Just last week, we paid over £7,000 towards 1st quarter 2025 kennel fees for our rescue dogs who had no foster offers. That wiped out our reserves. We are trying to do our best for every soul we’ve taken in… but right now, we are drowning. We also aid almost 4, 000 for all ultrasound, checks and first Bear Hip Operation... Also Jay Jay had hip Surgery around 2,000 we spayed, castratwd and did dental treatment of more then 20 dogs in the last months.... It's thousands of pounds... We are left with nothing.... I used all my private savings to cover Foster dogs emergency needs....
I hate to beg, but we are out of options. I feel helpless. Alone. And deeply overwhelmed. I just wish I could cry and make it all go away… but I can’t. So here I am — asking, pleading, hoping…
Please help us, please support Bear. We can’t leave him behind. We can’t give up on him. Even the smallest donation will make a difference.

To those wonderful people who helped today with emergency transport and offered Bear a loving foster home to heal — thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. You gave us a moment to breathe. But now we must carry Bear through this next chapter — and we can only do that together.
PLEASE SHARE – HELP US FIND HOPE FOR BEAR
Bear in his very short life has already endured more than most adult dogs ever will — and he’s still just a pup.All we want is to see him safe, healed, and happy again. But we cannot do it without you.
P.S. – BEAR’S HEARTBREAKING START IN LIFE
Some of you know Bear’s story. But for those who don’t, please let us tell you why this little soul means so much to us...
Bear was rescued by Paw Help when he was just 3 weeks old — one of 10 tiny siblings born into terrible conditions. We bottle-fed them. We raised them. We loved them. And Bear… he was always the softest, the gentlest, the biggest.
But something wasn’t right. While the others grew strong, Bear was unstable, wobbly… something in his little body just wasn’t working. After countless vet visits, a specialist confirmed the worst:
Severe hip dysplasia — at only 2 months old.
The options?
A) Surgery ️
B) A life of chronic pain
C) Euthanasia
We chose life. We chose hope. We chose Bear.
Since then, he’s had two surgeries to try to give him a future. And through every moment of pain and fear, he’s remained our gentle giant. Brave. Kind. Trusting. Always wagging his tail… even when he couldn’t stand properly.
He was promised love. He was promised safety. And we are begging for him.
We know times are hard. But if Bear’s story touches your heart, please help us carry him through this.
Thank you – from all of us at Paw Help, and from Bear, with love.
