Hey everyone,

Our home was broken into sometime between 1-4 pm on Thursday 6/8 by forcible entry thru a dead bolted back door. We weren’t home at the time (out working/running errands) so we are safe and luckily so is our cat, George. We’re also very lucky that all of our gear and music related stuff wasn’t stolen, phew! What the thief did manage to take was our switch console and all of the cash we had stashed around the house, including our band fund money that we’ve been building up from playing shows and selling merch. The $800 we had in that fund was intended to go down as a deposit for pressing our vinyl LP, which is something we need to get turned in very soon if we want to stay on track with our release timeline!

Luckily we have a serial number for the switch and have made a police report about the break-in so we’re moving along with a detective as far as finding that/possibly the thief. The invasion of privacy truly was the worst consequence of this ordeal, we got pretty damn lucky. We’ve since ordered cameras and “24hr surveillance” signs as well as putting locks up on the outer gates of the house and boarding the back door shut until we can get a locksmith out, we hope that will be enough for now.

Normally we would handle a crisis like this on our own but given our timeline for the LP we simply can’t pull together that money as a band quickly enough to keep this release on schedule, and the unexpected cost of a locksmith/door frame repair isn’t helping. We will definitely have enough time to pull together the rest of the money for pressing so we're only asking for that $800 plus some help with the door.
