Be a Shoulder for Chrissa V.

A good friend of mine left this plane a few days ago. A heart attack stole him away from us, far, far too early.

Spencer (aka Dr. Carny for the Burners) was a husband, a son, a brother, an uncle, a son-in-law, a friend, a mentor, a comedian, an actor, an activist, a Burner, and a madman full of exceptional and abysmal ideas.

He lived for the communities that he was a part of. He and Chrissa always had a space or a meal for anyone who needed it.

They chose to share what they had, instead of saving back for a rainy day. Unfortunately, Chrissa found herself in a life changing storm on Wednesday

If you knew Spencer and Chrissa, or benefitted from their "get me back later, if you want" kindness; this is a time that Chrissa could really use your support.

She could get by. She could "figure it out", after all, she's good at it. But we can also choose to give her a financial cushion while she mourns someone who made our world just a little brighter. We can gift her with a little stability, while she heals and works on finding her new normal.

I hope you have not only the ability to help her out, but also the feeling of community and friendship that they invested so much of themselves to build around them. Please join me in this effort.
