Let's be the rainbow in a dark cloud for Mikaela pre-wedding

Sometimes life sends us unexpected and unwanted situations; yet sometimes these situations can also bring unexpected gifts of love and support - that is why I am writing to you today.

My name is Kerry Boenisch, I'm a family friend of Mikaela Perry's, who as you probably know is getting married in three short weeks on June 26th.

Last week during a dance practice, Mikaela injured her achilles tendon and will undergo surgery this Friday to repair it. She will have to be non weight-bearing for six weeks, which of course is very sad news for the bride to be to receive. Now if anyone can recover quickly and with a positive attitude - it's definitely her - and with fiancé' Shawn by her side they will navigate the path to healing.

However, this is an opportunity for us to walk with them on their journey to walking down the aisle and showing our appreciation for perhaps one of the kindest individuals that we've ever met by helping them with unexpected medical expenses, food delivery and general activities that will be exponentially more complicated (but not insurmountable) than they would have been pre-injury. Let's be the rainbow in the dark cloud …..
