Hi. My name is Valerie Hinojosa. This year has already been a whirlwind for me. Beating cancer the first time, I felt I was on top of the world. I was unbeatable. Untouchable! Sadly I was reminded that I am not the one in charge with a new positive cancer screen again. My heart dropped. I cried my eyes out. I was angry. Why only after 4 months of being cancer free, did I have to fight again? God knows what I’m capable of, and I know He will be with me on this new journey. I’m going in knowing the odds are stacked against me this time, that this cancer claims to be incurable. But with God I will prevail. It’s going to be a hard journey but I feel I can do it again. Thank you for all the love and support coming in already. It’s an amazing thing to witness. This chemo has been stronger and harder on my body already. And although I am still working full time (or trying to) I’m not able to work as much as I need to . I need some help. My family will be orchestrating another plate sale in the future and we are aiming for May 7th. More on that to come! If u want to help, we would greatly appreciate it.
