The Elevator Pitch:
Any and every artist throughout time has survived or thrived by the support of benefactors, donors, collectors, patrons, fans, family, and friends. If you'd like to up your role in my life and play a huge part in what I'm creating for the world, here is your chance. Sometimes, pulling yourself up by your bootstraps looks like walking those feet to the help you need. Everyone's biggest problem is the same size, and my biggest problem is housing. I never intended to LIVE in a bus. Life just shook out that way. I'm blessed to have Yonderlust, but it's a glorified tent, and I spend a lot of bandwidth on recreating the bottom rung of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs every 3-6 months. Plus, I am daily dancing around the basics we all take for granted: indoor plumbing, dedicated work spaces, food storage/preparation/and cleaning, trash, leaks, and temperature control. This is not me whining or begging. This is me inviting others to collaborate with me by becoming an Executive Producer in what I'm creating for the world. This is me just setting aside the fear of what people will think of me, so as to ask for the help I need. If this turns out to be only an exercise in that, then so be it. I want to live in a world where we all feel allowed to ask for the help we need. No matter how embarrassing or scary. So this is me just asking for a little help.
The Nuts & Bolts:
- $115,000 covers the 2.9%+$.30 for every donation, as well as closing and move-in costs.
- I'll reach out to those who donate with so much gratitude and to start a conversation about how I can repay you.
- I'm keeping the campaign up until the house goes off the market or I meet the goal, whichever comes first.
- If I don't reach an amount to make an offer for this specific place, donations will go towards a down payment for something else or towards however many months of a rental the donations afford. Any boost will be life-changing at this point. All donations will go ONLY towards housing. I will keep everyone who donates informed.
- If you have any questions whatsoever to feel better about donating, please don't hesitate to reach out.
- If you want to know all the signs, symbols, and synchronicities (there are a lot) that have guided me to this property, I'd be more than happy to share them with you. It really is kind of wild.

3,000 people donate $38 (while I'd like to believe I've brought value to every person in my network, I'm aware this one is a long shot, but it demonstrates how, when many people come together, nobody has to carry too much).
Some more perspective:
If someone buys a $5 coffee 5 days a week, that's $100 a month; $1,200 a year on a fleeting experience. Being a part of putting beauty into the world is timeless and priceless. So is helping someone with whatever their biggest need is.
