March 10, 2025 Quin had knee surgery. After days of recovery at home, she was rushed to the hospital by EMS on March 15th after waking from a nap unaware of her knee surgery and not answering normal cognitive questions. Following 5 days in the hospital, the doctors believed this was due to an error in medicine mixture later to decide it was not that at all.
Just over a week and after lots of doctors’ appointments later, Quin had a seizure on April 6th and was rushed back to the hospital by EMS where she was diagnosed with a form of PTSD, trauma seizures and experienced cognitive changes such as short term memory loss, extreme fatigue and seizure type episodes due to stress or subconsciously while asleep. Not at all related to knee surgery.
Her son is being well taken care of by both sets of his grandparents and Quin's possey of mom friends.
Her father, Wally, has been a superstar staying by her side, helping with medical discussions, and making many trips to and from doctors’ appointments with her.
Many friends and family have asked how they can help besides prayer and as you know, insurance & short term disability, lasts for only so long and is taking it’s sweet time to process. If you feel led to donate, all donations will be greatly appreciated and will go towards monthly bills as well as medical bills when necessary. Otherwise, continue to pray as those are always appreciated and being felt.
If you would like to send a card, please reach out to Quin or family for her address.
Thank you in advance.
