Hi there ✈️

My name is Jack. I’m from Madagascar and I’m 22 years old. In March this year, I made the biggest leap of my life: I moved to South Africa to begin my pilot training. Today, I’m reaching out to ask for your support so I can continue toward my Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL).

Like many kids, I once dreamed of flying. But where I’m from, dreams like that often stay locked away. It takes more than passion... It takes resources, sacrifice, and relentless determination. For years, I kept that dream tucked safely in my heart, quietly hoping that maybe, one day, it would come true.

I grew up in Madagascar , in a modest family of six. The average monthly income in my country is less than $50. Even if this wasn’t exactly our case, it reflects how difficult it is for most Malagasy families to afford an education, especially something as specialized and expensive as flight training.

Our parents have always done everything they could for us, even with limited means. My dad, who should be retired by now, still works as a salesman to help support us . My mom is a full-time caregiver and homemaker.

After graduating from high school, I studied industrial maintenance at university. I’ve always been fascinated by how things work: engines, machines, cars... but above all, airplanes . I couldn’t ignore that calling any longer.

Recently, my family and I made a bold decision: to invest in my dream. They used our hard-earned family savings to help me start my PPL (Private Pilot License). Their trust means everything and I’m giving it everything I’ve got. But becoming a pilot doesn’t stop there, the next essential step is getting my CPL (Commercial Pilot License)
