"This summer my husband and I have the opportunity of a lifetime..."

In the summer of 2017 I traveled to Tanzania, Africa for the first time. Spreading the gospel on the remote island of Miasome, in Lake Victoria. That trip not only had a big impact on my life, but it also gave me some of the most precious friendships. One of those friendships was with a man named Yusuph Emmanuel.

Shortly following that 2017 trip Yusuph encountered some heartbreaking circumstances that not only changed his life but, as it turns out, the lives of hundreds of others. Out of that heartbreak, my dear friend created an organization called Twelve21 Global; A ministry dedicated to educate, equip and empower the most vulnerable in Tanzania.

After 5 years of ministry, Twelve21 has educated over 324 students in their schools, treated 2,203 patients through medical missions and reached nearly 28,000 people with the gospel. I have had the pleasure of partnering with this ministry over the last few years and traveling with them to Tanzania. Capturing through photo and video their heart and impact.

This summer my husband and I have the opportunity of a lifetime. We are heading back to Tanzania (him for the first time) to film and capture my dear friend Yusuphs story. Not only the story of Twelve21 but his personal story of abandonment, loss and ultimately God's redemption.

This adventure will take us back to the remote villages of Tanzania and, for the first time, to the highest peak atop Mt Kilamanjaro. All while filming Yusuph's incredible God journey.
