We may never truly understand why hard times hit good people, but it’s people like you, the cheerful givers, who become like heroes in these situations.

Now let me introduce you to Carla and Lorelai! Carla is a faithful servant of the Lord who is very kind, giving, and a hard worker. She’s also a single mother to a precious little girl named Lorelai. Carla’s life has been one of trials no one should have to go through, but her life is also a story of an overcomer!

A few months ago, Carla’s car gave out completely, but the bad news became good news when the I Will Not Keep Silent Ministries and their partners were able to raise funds for a new car! It was truly a blessing and a time of celebration; however, it wasn’t long before a storm of opposition blew in like a cold, dark wind.

That said, two and a half weeks ago, a car came out of nowhere, flying into an intersection and striking Carla’s new/used car. Thankfully, Lorelai was okay, but Carla was cut up and her hand had to be put in a splint to heal. This incident not only resulted in her car being totaled but also put her out of work for a while. The person who hit her vehicle was at fault but didn’t have insurance. Carla only has liability and her insurance company is saying her car was too old to be worth anything. Right now, she’s stuck and has no vehicle. That’s why we need YOU! If you know Carla, you know what kind of person she is, and I don’t need to say anything else.
